Flower Face is a collection that celebrates femininity, design, and nature. Inspired by a pilgrimage to Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright’s home, Taliesin, I sought to honor my ancestors and the land I live on by creating something beautiful. Like Taliesin, Flower Face takes its name from an ancient Welsh legend—known in its original tongue as Blodeuwedd.

This collection reflects the women of past generations as well as the flora, fauna, and history of the unassuming Great American Midwest. It includes three prairie dresses adorned with hand-rendered prints, each representing a different Wisconsin landscape: prairies, forests, and wetlands. The piece shown here, Deciduous Shade, draws inspiration from Edwardian silhouettes and represents the deep Wisconsin woodlands of the northern region of the state.
My goal with Flower Face is to help others see Wisconsin, and the Midwest, with wonder and gratitude. Too often overlooked in favor of distant mountains and beaches, we forget the honor it is to live in this sprawling, pastoral paradise we call home. Through this collection, I invite others to pause, look closer, and rediscover the beauty of the land we are so fortunate to inhabit.
